Classes
Reformer Classes
Pilates classes provide a full-body flow. These classes build strength, coordination, mind-body connection, and long, lean muscles. They are suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Modifications can be made in these group classes due to the small, semi-private setting.
Athlete Training
Professional and collegiate-level athletes can all benefit from Reformer Pilates classes. Pilates is an excellent way for athletes to connect their mind and body, both during the season and in the off-season. It helps improve core strength, balance, flexibility, and reduces the risk of injury caused by muscular imbalances. The spring-loaded resistance of the Reformer builds muscle strength, making it an especially beneficial training tool for high-level athletes.
Full Body Pilates Blast- ASS and ABS
This class is added to the schedule a few times a month. It’s a high-intensity Pilates workout designed to make you sweat and feel a full-body burn. The class incorporates booty bands, ankle weights, hand weights, the Ring of Fire, and the Pilates ball. It’s a great addition to your workout regimen!
Prenatal Reformer/Mat Pilates
Pilates is highly recommended during pregnancy, as the slow, controlled movements focus on strengthening the core and pelvic floor muscles. Exercises can be tailored to meet the needs of each stage of pregnancy, ensuring a safe and effective workout for moms-to-be.
Benefits of prenatal Pilates include improved core engagement, core strength, posture, flexibility, balance, and relaxation techniques, as well as breathing exercises to support overall wellness.
In my studio, the reformers can be easily converted for mat Pilates workouts as well. As always, please consult with your healthcare provider to ensure that starting a Pilates program is suitable for you.
